Cruise to the Paradise of Balos Lagoon
Balos is Crete’s calling card – one of those postcard-perfect spots you dream of visiting. Turquoise waters, pink sand, and wild nature make it one of the island’s most breathtaking places. If you’re on Crete, it’s a must-see!
We set off from the port of Kissamos aboard the spacious, comfortable Cretan Daily Cruises ship. First stop: Imeri Gramvousa, the famous “pirate island.” Here, you can climb to the Venetian fortress for jaw-dropping views or unwind on the beach. You’ll have about 2.5 hours to swim, snap photos, or relax under a fig tree. Then, the ship whisks you away to the paradise of Balos Lagoon – a true gem of Crete, unlike any other. With 3 hours to soak it all in, you’ll fall head over heels for its crystal-clear waters, shallow bays perfect for swimming, soft sand, and endless blue. Pure magic.
Onboard, there’s a bar with meals and drinks, while the lagoon has a small canteen with snacks and ice cream. After a day packed with wonders, we head back to Kissamos.

Timetable:

• 07:30–09:35 – Pick-up from a spot on the Chania-Kissamos route (set during booking).
• 10:00 – Meet at Kissamos port.
• 10:40 – Ship departs.
• 11:50 – Arrival at Balos Lagoon.
• 14:45 – Departure from Balos to Gramvousa.
• 15:00 – Arrival at Gramvousa Island.
• 16:45 – Departure from Gramvousa.
• 17:45 – Return to Kissamos port.
• 18:30–19:00 – Drop-off at your hotel/pick-up point.
